Fashion Then & Now

As we have all heard the 70's were the greatest. One thing that was one of the greatest things is the way they dressed. Men wore leather jackets, bell bottoms, fur coats, and even went so far to wear  jumpsuits and long trentch coats. Women wore floral blouses, wide-leg denim, high waisted pants, long dresses, jumpsuits, and even chuncky heeled high heels.

Now days out fashion has totally changed. You see women wearing tighter more revealing clothes. Depending on the weather, women tend to show more skin than back in the 70's. Women wear floral pants, jean jackets, boots, skinny jeans, and much more. The men nowadays dress totally different. They usually wear tighter fitted jeans known ask skinny jeans, short cut boots, vests, v-neck shirts, and also leather. Men tend to layer a lot of outfits now days.

As you can see from the describtions i have given men and women dress differently now than they used to from the 70's.

Short Hairstyles

Short hairstyles are pretty popular now and days! but picking the perfect hairstyle is important,there are so many different choices out there. ive actully been trying to decide my self if i should try the shorter cut or not.  here are some of my favorites.

Quick Makeup Designs

If your anything like me you hate wearing your make up the same. So thats why i decided to show you all what i found. If your into the "Smokey Eye" like i am then you can make it even more dramatic.

The first step is to apply silver, gold or metallic color of your choice to your lids, leaving the outer parts of the eyes untouched. (Shown in the first picture)

Second step is to apply a deep charcoal gray to contour the eyes.

Third step is to  apply a lighter gray to the brow.

Fourth step is to add mascara and eyeliner to lashes and top of eye lid, and lightly on the bottm lid.



Just by these easy four steps you can have a dramatic smokey eye and show it off. Try it, i did and i loved it. I hope you enjoy it as much as i did.

News Print Nails !

A cute nail color, and a cute desgin is what ever girls wants! Here are the simple steps to having a news print design on your nails !

 Supplies Needed:

• A small glass
• Rubbing alcohol
• 10 strips of news paper, make sure they're big enough to cover the nail 
• any light nail polish, like a white, or a pastel color.
• Clear top coat polish .

                                           

Doing It:
1.) polish nails, with however namy desired coats, and color. let dry
2.) pour rubbing alcohol into small glass
3.) dip yout dried nail into the rubbing alcohol. make sure whole nail gets wet.
4.) place, and press news paper strip onto nail, hold it firmly bur carefully there for 30 sec. make sure not the move the strip.
5.) remove strip carefully, repeat for each nail.
6.) put on the clear top coat and your done :)

Add a boot !

Now that the weather has slowly gotten colder its time to dress warmer. One way to dress warm is adding a pair of boots to keep your toes and feet warm.

Adding a pair of boots can also put your outfit together. No matter if the outfit is dressy, casual, office professional, or even when going on a romantic date.

how-to-steps for the trending hair bow :)

The hair bow is trending all over the place now, ever since it was first seen on Lady Gaga. Here are the quick simple steps for making a hair bow.
 
1.) straighten your hair
2.) comb hair out, make sure there are no tangles.
3.) gather all your hair to the top of your head, or where ever u desire your bow to be. (you may leave you bangs out. if u wish) tie your hair with a hair tie, only pull your hair part way through, creating a loop, with a tail.
4.) tie the tail, wiht another hair tie, to create another loop, and tail.
5.) pull the left over tail, around the center of the loops. and sucure it with bobby pins.
6.) spray a little hair spray if you desire. and your done :)

Men's Winter Fashion: The Do's and Dont's

The Do's:

• Classic Winter Hat: it's time to give grandma's knitted hats a rest this year. Basic ski caps, fedora, newsboy hats, and bowlers works perfectly fine for keeping your head warm, and looking great.
• Leather: Even though it takes proper maintance to keep a good looking leather jacket, it still can take a beating and it's the perfect jacket for rain or snow.
• AVest:  A vest is the perfect layering piece. it can be that finishing piece on warmer days. wear it with a sweater to keep your arm's warm. *Note: DO NOT wear over sized vest.
• Scarf: Learn the many ways to tie a scarf. 3 popular and simple ways to tying a scarf: the parisen style, once-around knot, and the loose once-around knot-which works perfect with longer scarfs. *Note: DO NOT just throw one end over your shoulder.

The Dont's:

• Oversized Puffy Jackets: this is a big dont. even thought this may seem warm, DONT do it. layer up on some sweaters with a nice jacket.
• UGG Boots: there is a unisex boot, but dont wear them.  they still look feminine, for the most part. Most men have stopped wear UGGs but there is still a few of you who still wear them. For real cold days, just throw on a pair of Sorel boots.
• Bulking Up: dont wear so many layers that you become and shape-less heap of ugly. it all starts with over sized clothes. pick clothes that are fitted. *Solution: Thermal tees,cashmere hoodies, and tailored topcoats.
• Mix and Mismatch Athletic Gear: dont wear your ski jacket with your zipper-dangling pass, when your going out for the night, or some bulky pair a winter gloves. have a seperate pair of winter attire for work, and plat winter attire. *Solution: Slim wool coat, nylon jacket with removable layers, leather jacket, raincoat.

When we think of fashion we usually think of teen or adult fashion. But why? Children need to be dressed with fashionable sense as well. Now that winter is rolling in, parents have to be sure that their children are dressed with warmth and comfort.

(For girls this could be tights or leggings. For boys this could be a long sleeved shirt for the layered look.)
